Meeting Bursary Requirements
There are 3 requirements that students must meet to maintain eligibility for bursaries.
Failure to meet these requirements will disqualify you from receiving bursaries or you may be required to repay all or a portion of any bursaries already received.
-
1. Course Load Requirement
Must be enrolled in a minimum 60% course load for both the Fall 2022 and Winter 2023* semesters - or - for Trades programs, a minimum 60% course load for the duration of the program.
*Note: Students with a documented disability can be enrolled in a minimum 40% course load but must be registered with the Accessibility Services Department. *
If you are not sure if you meet the 60% course load requirement, email FinancialAid@selkirk.ca or phone (250) 365-1295.
-
2. Satisfactory Academic Standing
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 (C grade) in the semester(s) being considered. *
-
3. Tuition and Fees
It is expected that all tuition and fees are paid in full by the first day of the semester.
If there are any outstanding fees, at the time bursaries are released, your bursary will be applied to those fees first. *
Contact FinancialAid@selkirk.ca if you have any questions about this requirement.
