Removing Barriers for WIL Fall 2022

100 bursaries have been created to support underrepresented domestic students who have taken part in unpaid work integrated learning (WIL) opportunity as part of a Fall 2022 course at Selkirk College.

The goal of the bursary is to help alleviate or remove barriers for students participating in unpaid WIL activities. These barriers include any cost that typically is associated with the students WIL experience including, but not limited to; supplies, software, technology, childcare, transportation, accommodation technology, gear, immunizations, etc.

This form will be collecting a variety of information about you and your work-integrated learning experience. Email coopeducation@selkirk.ca if you have questions, or require assistance with the application.

A staff member from Selkirk College Co-op Education and Employment Services (CEES) department and/or Financial Aid will follow up with you to let you know if your application was successful and to discuss final steps in December 2022.

This project is funded by CEWIL Canada and The Government of Canada's Innovative Work-Integrated Learning Initiative (I-WIL), and administered by Selkirk College Co-op Education and Employment Services department.

CEWIL Canada and The Government of Canada's Innovative Work-Integrated Learning Initiative (I-WIL) require that we collect the following information from bursary recipients for reporting purposes. By submitting this application you are giving us consent to share the following information with them if you are a recipient of a bursary. If you do not receive a bursary, your information will not be shared and your application will be deleted.

**Please note that international students are not eligible for this bursary.
